Sunshine!

After what seems like weeks without sunshine and days filled with nothing but rain, finally, the sun has decided to shine down. I'm sitting here watching my 2 labs nap in the sun and thinking......."a dog's life must be nice sometimes"?! The only real thing they have to worry about is whether or not they'll get caught digging into the trash.

Seriously though, the sunshine is a welcome sight. We've got some row crop acreage that was planted in corn about 1 month ago that didn't fair that well. It needs to be replanted asap to still have a chance of sustaining decent yields and making some money, otherwise we're faced with the real possibility of having to switch over to soybeans. We're not alone, a lot of farmers are feeling the pains of a very wet, cool late April-mid May.

Hopefully the sunshine will help the real estate buyers get out and shop! There are bargains out there right now, and we've got some for sale too! Hope everyone has a good day today.
